The Bats Red Jasper Pendulum features a Red Jasper gemstone pendant and a witches ladder of 13 Red Jasper gemstone beads and AB Austrian Crystal faceted beads, with silver alloy charms.
Due to the hand crafted nature of this item, anomolies and imperfections which show the artists hand may be present in the final product.
HOW TO USE THE PENDULUM
Before your first use, ensure you are feeling grounded. Cleanse the pendulum and yourself with smoke, cleansing spray, or selenite. This removes any lingering energies and prepares it for your vibration.
Hold the pendulum in your dominant hand, resting your elbow on a table for stability if you are noticing your hands are shaky or unstable. You can also wrap the chain of the pendulum around several fingers if it is feeling a little too long or uncomfortable to hold at full length.
Set your intention. If you intend on setting your Witches Ladder beads with an intention (see below), this should connect with the same or similar words, chants, deities etc.
Ask the pendulum to show you “yes” and “no.” For many, “yes” is a clockwise swing, while “no” is anticlockwise, and an unsure/ask again” is a straight swing. But it may differ…TRUST what you see.
Begin with clear, direct yes/no questions. Example: “Is today Wednesday?” Notice how the pendulum responds. Give yourself time to connect and feel comfortable with the pendulum before asking divination questions. Avoid asking the same question repeatedly.
Once comfortable, use the pendulum to ask more personal questions to tap into your intuition, or ask “either/or” choices (clockwise for option A, anticlockwise for option B).
HOW TO USE THE WITCHES LADDER
The Witch’s Ladder is often used in many folk magic, pagan and witchcraft practices, most traditionally made from natural materials including hair, twine, feathers, beads or bone, and placed/hung in a space once infused with its intention. Modernly, the Witches Ladder is also used similarly to that of a rosary, mala or prayer beads.
When used with the Pendulum as a divination tool, use the Witches Ladder beads as you would in meditation or ritual to focus the will and energy on the desired goal. Each knot or bead can represent a single word, intention, chant, prayer, incantation or connection to a deity, spirit or ancestor. Not every bead or knot needs to be used every time, sometimes every second bead is used (6 beads). Once the beads have been set with their intention, the pendulum can be used for divination.
